Accessibility is essential. We believe everyone should have access to the waterfront.

We made sure to build all of our walkways to ADA standards. Wherever you see stairs at the park, you will find walkways accessing the same area. The Big Four Bridge is accessible by ramp on the Kentucky and Jeffersonville side.

Service animals are allowed everywhere in the park.

Our Accessible Signage Program helps park visitors with visual impairment navigate and enhance their park experience. Each sign includes raised letters, a Braille translation, and tactile graphics. Textured pads at the edge of sidewalks provide underfoot cues for the signs.

There are 10 accessible signs spread throughout the park in the following locations:

The Arthur H. Keeney Ophthalmic Fund and the the Downtown Lion’s Club sponsored our accessible signage program, as well as many of the signs.
