The changing of seasons introduces some changes in our park, as well. Our restroom facilities and water fountains are now winterized and closed for the winter months to protect them from freezing temperatures. Our seasonal vendors have also closed for the season. Stay tuned to ourwaterfront.org for notifications and updates.
Pick up after yourself, your children, and your pets.
The next trash receptacle is never far away.
Everywhere. No, really.
Walk your dog.
On a leash and in designated areas. Dogs are not permitted on playgrounds, the Splash Park, fountains, or the Big Four Bridge (service dogs are the exception).
We encourage movement throughout the park to stay fit. Please be mindful of others who might need more space than you.
Bring your ball, hula hoops, playing cards, and other activities to enjoy. No league play. No cleats.
Have a picnic.
Bring a meal to share with family and friends. No alcohol. No glass. Grills are available to use in the picnic areas by both playgrounds.
Say hi or wave to someone you pass in the park. You just might make their day.
