This beautiful and open green space offers impressive views of the Ohio River as well as panoramic views of the Big Four Bridge. It can accommodate concerts, festivals, walks/runs, weddings, galas, and many other events. Venture atop the walking bridge for an aerial view of this awesome venue.
Venue FeaturesThe Brown-Forman Amphitheater is a large, concrete apron semi-enclosed by a hillside. It includes stone and grass tiered seating. Offering stunning views of the downtown skyline and Big Four Bridge, the amphitheater is perfect for outdoor performances.

Park users frequently reserve both venues for larger events. Running along one side of the Plaza is a water feature and concrete steps for seating.

The TurfMutt Great Lawn is the centerpiece of our waterfront. The venue includes a massive green space that can accommodate large events such as concerts and festivals. We often refer to this area as our community’s lawn. This venue is home to events, including Forecastle Festival, Kentucky Derby Festival’s Fest-A-Ville, Ironman, and FunkFest.
Venue FeaturesThe TurfMutt Great Lawn – South is the smaller half of the TurfMutt Great Lawn that begins under I-64 and includes the grassy area toward downtown, as well as the public gardens. It also includes the paved area under the expressway perfect for merchandise vendors or concessions.
Venue FeaturesThe Harbor Lawn, is a beautifully manicured triangular space situated immediately east of the TurfMutt Great Lawn. The Children’s Play Area is nearby and available with the Harbor Lawn. This charming site is ideal for small gatherings, weddings, and festivals.
Venue FeaturesLocated in an area called the Linear Park, the Upland Meadows are remarkable for both their landscape and botanical diversity. The Orange and Purple Upland Meadows both offer a semi-private hillside. The venue is perfect for weddings, family reunions, or organized picnics. Large tree hedges provide some seclusion and block visibility from surrounding areas. The Upland Meadows are quiet and create a haven for special, smaller events.
