Down Syndrome of Louisville is a nonprofit organization founded in 1977 as an early intervention education resource for children with Down Syndrome in Kentucky.
The 2022 Urban Bourbon Half Marathon presented by Jim Beam® course celebrates Louisville’s river heritage and starts and finishes along Main Street in downtown Louisville.

Via Colori® Kentucky is a festival in which hundreds of artists, community organizations, vendors, and partners come together to host the most creative festival in Kentucky. Over 100 artists participate with the intent of making an artistic masterpieces on a large scale, directly on the sidewalks of Waterfront Park in Louisville.

At The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night we gather as a community to celebrate, honor, and remember those touched by blood cancers. Friends, families, schools, corporate teams, and sponsors join together to bring light to the darkness of cancer. The funds raised by this community fund lifesaving research, advocacy and support for blood cancer patients and their families. Join us in the fight to cure cancer!

Friends of Waterfront Park, FOWP, a nonprofit auxiliary arm of Waterfront Park, is pleased to announce the debut of a new fundraising event, Hot Brown Showdown. This cook-off and tasting event invites restaurants and caterers from around the Bluegrass to compete for the title of the best Hot Brown! The event will take place on Sunday, October 23rd on the Festival Plaza at Waterfront Park from 1-5pm with live music from Hot Brown Smackdown!
