For Children Ages 7-12, July 10-14, 9:30 am-4 pm; $265 Regular Day; Sessions are limited to 15 art students.
Campers aged 7 to 12 can come experience an Art Camp surrounded by greenspace, fresh air, a splash park and of course more playgrounds, and more ART! LVA Artist Instructors will guide campers through Waterfront Park’s art, wildlife and history and campers will create paintings, drawings,sculptures and more, inspired by their own observations and nature. A ride on the steamboat “Mary Miller” (who was the first female steamboat captain) is included in the camp, also a visit to Abraham Lincoln by Ed Hamilton and to the Flock of Finns by Marvin Finn, both local artists.
