A message from our Executive Director, Deborah Bilitski:
Spring is upon us and we are gearing up for a very busy event season in Waterfront Park. After a two-year COVID hiatus, Kentucky Derby Festival is returning to Waterfront Park on April 23rd with Thunder Over Louisville. The KDF festivities continue through May 6th as we welcome back familiar favorites including Kroger’s Fest-A-Ville on the Waterfront, the Great Steamboat Race, and the Mini-Marathon. Our signature events, Fridays at the Front and Brunch + Bark by the Bridge, return to the Waterfront on April 1st and 3rd, respectively. On April 27th, we will kick off the 20th season of WFPK Waterfront Wednesday, our free, family-friendly concert series featuring local and emerging national recording artists.
It’s full steam ahead on Belle of Louisville Riverboats! Learn more about the $5 Spring Break special on the Mary M. Miller and reserve a front-row seat for Thunder on the Belle by clicking here.
