Exciting Updates from Waterfront Park: New Name, Events, and More!

We are thrilled to announce that the Great Lawn at Louisville’s Waterfront Park will be officially renamed the TurfMutt Foundation Great Lawn! This comes as part of a $1 million, 10-year sponsorship from the TurfMutt Foundation, showcasing their commitment to green spaces and community well-being. This donation helps to secure the future upkeep of the Great Lawn and Waterfront Park for many years to come.
This partnership marks an exciting new chapter for Waterfront Park, reinforcing the importance of maintaining beautiful, accessible urban green spaces. The TurfMutt Foundation’s work aligns perfectly with our mission to connect people to the river and ensure the park remains a welcoming space for everyone. You’ll notice four new signs at different entrances to the Great Lawn with more information about this partnership.
The official rededication happened on October 16 during the Mulligan 5K Fun Run and Walk.
