Thunder Over Louisville

To some, it’s the official kick-off to the Kentucky Derby Festival. To others, it’s the unofficial beginning of spring. But to all, it’s simply one of the largest annual fireworks shows in North America and the setting for some of the most memorable moments you’ll ever share.

Airshow: 3:00 pm

Drone Show: 9:00 pm

Fireworks: 9:30 pm

Big Four® Bridge Thunder, Airshow, and Airshow Practice closure times:

Friday, April 11– closes 11 AM until 5PM (Airshow Practice)

Saturday, April 12 –closes at 9 AM until the show is complete. Based on traffic on the Ohio the bridge could stay closed until approx. 11:30 PM.
