WFPK Waterfront Wednesday
91.9 WFPK Independent Louisville and Waterfront Park are delighted to announce the 24th season of WFPK Waterfront Wednesday. Proceeds from WFPK Waterfront Wednesday benefit two beloved local nonprofits, Louisville Public Media and Waterfront Park.
⚠️ Special Notice ⚠️
After careful consideration of current weather and site conditions, we have made the difficult decision to reschedule the May 27 WFPK Waterfront Wednesday to Thursday, May 28.
The bad news: due to prior commitments, Arlo Parks is no longer able to perform. The good news: a rescheduled Waterfront Wednesday will take place on Thursday, May 28, at the Big Four Lawn, with MODISTE headlining (8:30pm) alongside Routine Caffeine (7:15pm) and Kiana Del (6pm).
The Monarch Living Room Stage Bluegrass Jam, originally scheduled for May 27, will be moved to a later date.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work hard to still deliver an amazing free event experience for our fans. Outdoor events are always subject to the unpredictability of nature, and while this decision was not made lightly, the safety and comfort of our fans, artists, and staff must come first. WFPK Waterfront Wednesday is a labor of love produced by two nonprofits — Louisville Public Media and Waterfront Park — and the best way to show your support for everything that goes into making this free, local, outdoor show possible is to come out Thursday and bring your friends.
We look forward to seeing you back at the Big Four Lawn when the rain ends for the first-ever WFPK Waterfront Thursday. It’s going to be a beautiful night and we appreciate your support and your help spreading the word.

I see rain/wind/tornadoes from Oz predicted in the weather report. Is there still a concert? Waterfront Wednesday is a rain or shine event. Occasionally especially heavy rain or lightning has caused us to run on a delayed schedule, and in the event of a particularly bad weather, cancel. The safety of our attendees as well as our bands and workers always takes priority, and in the case of inclement weather, keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
I lost my keys/sunglasses/credit card/license/sweater/water bottle/you get the idea/ at Waterfront Wednesday, help! You can check to see if anything was turned into the Merchandise Booth (to the left of the stage) or by calling WFPK at 502-814-6500 the next day.
I wish I’d gotten one of those awesome t-shirts you were selling! And you can! Check out our online store.
