To some, it’s the official kick-off to the Kentucky Derby Festival. To others, it’s the unofficial beginning of spring. But to all, it’s simply one of the largest annual fireworks shows in North America and the setting for some of the most memorable moments you’ll ever share.
Airshow: 3:00 pm
Fireworks: 9:30 pm
Big Four® Bridge Thunder, Airshow, and Airshow Practice closure times:
Friday, April 19– closes 11 AM until 5PM (Airshow Practice)
Saturday, April 20 –closes at 9 AM until the show is complete. Based on traffic on the Ohio the bridge could stay closed until approx. 11:30 PM.
