Join us to celebrate service learning with WE Day at Waterfront Park! As part of WE Day KY, the WE Walk for Compassion will be hosted at Waterfront Park. Since its inception in 2012, WE Day KY has empowered young people to ignite change and improve the world through service.
WE Day KY showcases the impact of service-learning through an annual celebration, recognizing students and teachers as change-makers in communities across the commonwealth. Over the past decade, WE Day KY has engaged over 50,000 students from more than 500 schools across 2/3 of Kentucky counties. Together, they have contributed approximately 3 million hours of service through local and global projects.
To honor the legacy of WE Day KY, students, teachers, and community members are invited to join us for the WE Walk for Compassion at Waterfront Park and across the Big Four Bridge on Wednesday, April 17th, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Bring your posters for positive change! All are welcome to participate; registration is required.
