Free History Walking Tours with Rick Bell

In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Waterfront Park, join author and historian Rick Bell for monthly walking tours. Bell will host two different FREE tours on the last weekend of each month from June through September.

Saturday morning tours will cover a scenic path from the Belle of Louisville to the Lincoln Memorial.  Sunday afternoon tours will start at the Lincoln Memorial and cross the Big Four Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge. Both tours are approximately 1.5 miles and will take place rain or shine.

Rick Bell, author of “Louisville’s Waterfront Park: A Riverfront Renaissance,” will share his extensive knowledge of the city’s history, from its founding to the present day, highlighting the many fascinating transformations of our waterfront.
