To some, it’s the official kick-off to the Kentucky Derby Festival. To others, it’s the unofficial beginning of spring. But to all, it’s simply one of the largest annual fireworks shows in North America and the setting for some of the most memorable moments you’ll ever share.
2025 will mark the inaugural Kentucky Derby Festival 5K Presented by First Urology on Friday, April 25, kicking off a full weekend of racing with the traditional GE Appliances miniMarathon and Marathon on Saturday, April 26!
Featuring musical entertainment and yacht rock vibes from Louisville’s own, Tony and the Tan Lines. As the sun sets over our beloved donor supported public oasis, enjoy the smooth sounds of all your Tan Line favorites and indulge in the camaraderie of fellow supporters who are passionate about the preservation of our community’s most enjoyed public space. To enhance the experience, savory and delicious bites will be available ensuring a culinary experience at its finest.
Louisville Downtown Partnerships are bringing back the fan-favorite Downtown Silent Disco this October! The event will take place at the Big Four Lawn beginning at 7pm for attendees to enjoy food and drink options.
