Portals, Pathways, and the Space Between Us is a series of exhibitions in collaboration with The Carnegie in Covington, Kentucky that explores placemaking, shapeshifting, and the temporalities of Kentucky through the Ohio River. This roving exhibition consists of outdoor sound and video programs that will take place throughout the state of Kentucky, once a month from June to November 2025, in Lexington, Louisville, Frankfort, Clermont, Covington, and Richmond. Curated by Sso-Rha Kang, Curator at The Carnegie, the Louisville exhibition is a collaboration with KMAC and includes videos by Sora Kim, Katinka Bock, and Stivan Widick & David Jester as dreaMachine transmissions, along with a sound installation by Britni Bicknaver and Brianna Kelly, and a performance by Flanger Magazine.
