Spring Into Action: Your Guide to Upcoming Events

A message from our Executive Director, Deborah Bilitski:

With the arrival of spring, I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to the exciting new season at Waterfront Park! As we prepare for the months ahead, our calendar is brimming with an enticing lineup of events that promises something for everyone. From the awe-inspiring spectacle of Thunder Over Louisville to the lively festivities of the Kentucky Derby Festival, there’s an abundance of excitement on the horizon.

Returning in April and gracing our park monthly through September is Bark & Brunch by the Bridge, a delightful experience for our furry companions and their humans. And this year, Bark & Brunch brings an exciting addition: DOGA. Picture yourself bonding with your canine companion while practicing yoga amidst the serene beauty of nature.

For those with a penchant for vintage treasures, don’t miss the eclectic charm of the Fleur de Flea Vintage Urban Market. And for those dedicated to community welfare, Operation BBQ Relief offers not only delicious barbecue but also a chance to connect with local first responders and support relief to disaster-affected areas.

This is just a glimpse of the remarkable events awaiting you this season. To ensure you don’t miss a moment of the excitement, be sure to bookmark our Event Calendar at https://ourwaterfront.org/events/.

Additionally, we have just over a week remaining in the contest for Best Riverwalk in the nation. We would appreciate your vote, everyday. It would be an honor to finally claim recognition as number one in the country.
