A message from our Executive Director, Deborah Bilitski:
Dear Friends of Waterfront Park,
The only fitting way to begin is with a massive thank you to everyone who made our Waterfront Park Fourth of July a success. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, partners, and donors, over 35,000 people gathered on the TurfMutt Great Lawn to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. I especially want to recognize our extraordinary staff and maintenance crew, who worked tirelessly through the summer heat to deliver a beautiful celebration for the community.
If you missed the holiday fun, July is still packed with activities. In this newsletter, you’ll find that Yoga has returned to the park on Tuesday evenings, Downtown Drive-In movies continue, and Waterfront Wednesday returns on July 29. Of course, you don’t need an event as a reason to visit, just come down for a casual evening stroll to take in a spectacular summer sunset.
Waterfront Park thrives because of the supporters who keep this space welcoming, accessible, and vibrant for everyone. Thank you for investing in our park and creating lasting memories together.
